| 1) Does Tiger Shredding have business associates agreements? | |
| YES. For our customer's protection we provide a service and confidentiality agreement for every location we service. | |
| 2) How large are your two types of locking containers? | |
| 64-Gallon Rollaway holds up to 250 lbs or 95-Gallon Rollaway (350 lbs). | |
| Office Console holds up to 100lbs. | |
| 3) Do we have to take out fasteners and binders? | |
| NO. Our shredder can shred fasteners, paper clips, computer binders, and even 3 ring binders. We will often remove and discard big binders to speed up the shredding process and keep the shredded paper suitable for recycling. You need not do any preparation. | |
| 4) Do we have to bring the material to you? | |
| NO. We collect the material from your location(s) and then destroy it on-site or off-site. We even provide the labor to move the material to our truck from your office or warehouse. If the distance is significant, you may be able to save some money by providing some of the labor for transport. | |
| 5) What types of paper are acceptable? | |
| All Types. Our focus is the secure disposal of sensitive records, not what type of material it is. With special handling, we can even shred large quantities of microfiche, credit cards, and other plastics. Bio-hazards and trash are not acceptable. | |
| 6) Can I keep my boxes? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| YES. File boxes are expensive and can often be reused, the best form of recycling. But if you don't want them, we'll make arrangements to see that they are recycled. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 7) What happens to the paper, is it recycled? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| YES. We haul the shredded paper away, and it is all recycled. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 8) When you price by the box, how large can the boxes be? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| We offer prices for up to standard 15" legal/letter file boxes (usually 12"x10"x15") and 24" legal/letter boxes (usually 12"x10"x24"). We'll quote larger boxes upon inspection. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| 9) Do you provide quotes? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| YES. We can often quote purges over the phone if you have a good idea of the number of boxes or weight. We'll price route service primarily by the container, but if you prefer a different structure, we'll try to accommodate. For larger jobs, we'll inspect the material and give you a quote. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
